About Us
Two Sisters Adventure Company was started by Natasha Teasley with help from her mother, Cathy, and sister, Rainbow. Collectively, we have been working as guides and paddling instructors for over 4 decades.
Two Sisters Adventure Company was born out of the desire to create a more respectful and inviting environment for all people in the outdoors. North Carolina is rich with amazing public hiking trails and waterways and these should be places where everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Fear of personal safety, fear of water or natural hazards, self doubt about our bodies or our skills, lack of free time and funds, not seeing ourselves represented in outdoor communities; these are all things that can be boundaries for so many of us. Two Sisters Adventure Company is committed to removing as many of those boundaries as we can. We all deserve to be able to make a connection with the outdoor world.
We have the goal of working with members of community to find ways break down all boundaries to the outdoors. We want to work with our guests who have historic safety based barriers to help empower them to find more comfort and safety through education and mindfulness. When funding allows we provide opportunities for low income people to join in our regular programs at low to no cost. Ultimately, our success will be based on the positive impact we can have on our community.
Two Sisters Adventure Company is committed to wage equity. We believe that all people who are doing an equal job should be able to make the same wage regardless of gender, ethnicity, or access to personal adventure travel experience. Our belief is simple, treat all people with respect and dignity.
