Independent Paddle Canoeing, Kayaking, and and Standup Paddleboarding at Hickory Hill on Falls Lake (2.5 hours)

Reservation/Payment must be made prior to arrival.

Kayaks and Standup Paddleboards are for a SINGLE PADDLER. Canoes are for 2 PADDLERS (with 1 small adult or child non-paddler in center). Price is per boat.

Trips run 2.5 hours. Come back early if you want, our staff are there to assist you at any time.

If you would like to add an additional hour to your trip for $10 please select the add on at the bottom of the page. 3:00pm and later times may be available upon request.

Independent Paddling Trips provide the equipment while you provide the adventurous spirit. Our guides will not be on the water for you but will remain on shore to assist you when you need them.

Hickory Hill on Falls Lake in Northern Durham County is a shallow area of Falls Lake popular for wading birds. Common bird sightings here include Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Egrets (Great White Herons), variety of ducks, and Cormorants.
